 I will use every chance I can get to promote this amazing book that I love. It’s a very dark book bordering on insane with characters that’ll make you doubt everything and writing beautiful enough to creep its way into your soul. Leah Raeder writes the best LGBT books!

A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

 I keep telling myself that I need to read more books by Khaleid. I even own copies of “The Kite Runner” and “And the Mountains Echoed” Now I just need to read them. Most of you should already know that this is the book that made me a reader and also the first book I ever cried while reading. But what you don’t know is that I don’t own a copy of this book. I read it after borrowing it from a friend.

A BOOK SET IN LATIN AMERICA

Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho

I haven’t read this book but it’s on my TBR. And I believe it is set in Brazil.

Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom

A blind protagonist who takes shit from no one.
This is the kind of book I like to read.

A SCIENCE-FICTION OR FANTASY BOOK WITH A POC PROTAGONIST

Nobody’s Goddess (Never Veil #1) by Amy McNulty

This is the first book that came to mind because of the cover. It’s a YA Fantasy and I really need the third book.

The Immortals of Meluha (Shiva Trilogy #1) by Amish Tripathi

I don’t read books by many Indian authors but this one I really enjoyed reading.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #1) by Jenny Han 

I think the main character is biracial. I could be wrong though.

A BOOK STARRING A TRANSGENDER CHARACTER OR TRANSGENDER ISSUES

The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson

I wanted to pick another Leah Raeder book but NO SPOILERS on my blog, so  this book it is. This may be the only book I’ve read with a Transgender protagonist. I need to read more, I guess.
