Bad Girls Don’t Die (Bad Girls Don’t Die #1) by Katie Alender

It’s a horror story with ghosts and creepy little girl. If this doesn’t give you the creeps, I don’t know what will.

If you have read this book, you know what I’m talking about. The parallel world with the weird parents, sewing buttons in place of the eyes.

August Wrap-Up

Heya everyone! So this is my second wrap-up on this blog. And you all know my laziness. I decide to do something and then get too lazy to do it. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to do a wrap-up this month but then I thought I would! So here I am.

I read a total of 20 Books this month. And I reviewed very few of them on the blog (Just 5) . Sorry about that ! Mostly I just posted a short review on Goodreads.

But here’s the list:

A-Z reading Challenge

Alex Raphael tagged me to do this amazing challenge and I could not let it go! So here I am with another tag after a long time I think. I just don’t get tagged very often. And I love tags.

So BLOGGERS EVERYWHERE,  if you have an interesting tag, you can tag me. 😀

Author you’ve read the most books from:

If I could choose Cassandra Clare,  I would because I’ve practically read all her books.  But still L J Smith tops this.
Because combining The Vampire diaries and The Nightworld series,  there are more books than Cassie has written.  Not including the novellas obviously.

Best Sequel Ever:

Heir of Fire by Sarah J Mass.

Drink of Choice While Reading:
I don’t usually drink anything.  But I like my occasional coffee.

image

E-reader or Physical Book:
I prefer Physical books obviously. But since there aren’t many bookshops near my house. And I can’t usually find the books of my choice around here,  I just read the ebooks.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School:
Park from Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.  Yes please.  He loves music and is a comic nerd.  Cute Asian Guy! 😄
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

I was about to give up on this one.  And then the story startes getting interesting and BAM! The ending.  I’m glad I gave it a chance because it blew me away.

Hidden Gem Book:

I never thought I’d like this book.  I mean look at the title and the cover.  It doesn’t seem like it would be good. But once I read it..  Oh I fell in love with it. This is one of those books that you just hold close to your heart, close your eyes and breath for a while because it is just so overwhelming.

Important Moment in Your Reading Life:
The first time I cried while reading a book. In that moment, I realized that a book is much more than a book.  Ans the book was A Thousand splendid suns by the way.

Just Finished:

Zombie contemporary.  You gotta read this one!

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
I don’t really read non-fiction. Autobiographies,  memoirs,  nah not really my type.

Longest Book You’ve Read:
A feast for crows by George R R Martin. It has 1060 pages.

Major Book Hangover Because of:
Um… most of the books. Because I usually read at night and won’t sleep until the book is finished but The Infernal devices and Harry Potter series definitely kept me awake for long.

Number of Bookcases You Own:
Just one big shelf of actual physical books. I just read ebooks otherwise.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times
The Fault in our stars by John Green

Thirteen reasons why by Jay Asher

Unapologetic Fangirl for:
I have to choose one? Because I can’t. There are so many authors I love.
