Ugly love by Colleen Hoover

I am just recently discovering these amazing authors. I think I’ve been living under a rock to have never read anything by these authors. First, I read Kelley Armstrong’s book and fell in love with her writing and now Colleen Hoover.

You see, I have Never Never and Never Never part 2. I also have Confess and I had full intention of reading all these. But then you know, so many books, so little time. I have just started reading books by authors I have never read before but have heard great things about, Collee  Hoover being one of them.

I saw the trailer for Ugly Love and I knew I HAD to pick it up now. Now,  I’m glad I did.

Review :

Don’t ask about my past. 

Don’t expect a future. 

Two simple rules. 

But love can be as ugly as it can be beautiful. 

This book is written in dual POV’s.

Tate is a nurse in training and Miles is a Pilot. Tate is  living with her brother and Miles lives right across her. I liked being in Tate’s head and feeling everything she was feeling.

And then, there’s Miles and his past which he keeps hidden. So much pain, behind that unsmiling face. So much love that’s kept supressed.

I can’t put it in words how much I liked Ugly Love. It wasn’t just the story, though it had a big part in it, it was how this book made me feel and I think that’s how you judge a book, by how it makes you feel.

This book made me feel all different emotions and it was beautiful. It was sensual, yet touching. It was sad but happy. It was Ugly but still very beautiful.

And then there are other factors that make this book perfect. Corbain, Tate’s big brother who is also a pilot. His overprotectiveness and understanding (being contradicting)  were nice to read. And then there’s Cap. Oh how much I love him, maybe even more than Miles. He’s funny, understanding, caring and totally awesome. This book would be incomplete without him.
