Bad Girls Don’t Die (Bad Girls Don’t Die #1) by Katie Alender

It’s a horror story with ghosts and creepy little girl. If this doesn’t give you the creeps, I don’t know what will.

Coraline by Neil Gaiman

If you have read this book, you know what I’m talking about. The parallel world with the weird parents, sewing buttons in place of the eyes.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #1) by Michelle Hodkin

This book gives is strange and cringe-worthy at times. But it sure gave me the creeps.

Lord of the Flies by William Golding

This is a book you’ll never forget. Those kids are savages.

You (You #1) by Caroline Kepnes (Review)

Sick! Twisted! Creepy and messed up characters.

This book made me sick to the stomach. Depressing and fucked up is what it is.

Stalkers are creepy and in this book, you’re never sure about anything. Gave me the chills.

This is Not a Test (This is Not a Test #1) by Courtney Summers

The most fascinating Zombie-Apocalypse book.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children(Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children #1) by Ransom Riggs (Review)

Have you seen those pictures? They’ll give you nightmares!

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

It’s creepy from the very start. Here’s the blurb, just to give you an idea :

Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.
One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret.

I really like these kind of books. From your list I had read You and the sequel, Hidden Bodies. I have Miss Peregrine’s on my TBR and I hope to read it soon, I hear the movie is coming out this year. I will make a point of checking out the other books on your list. Great list and awesome choice of topic!

I’ve heard good things about The Coldest Girl in Coldtown and been meaning to pick it up for a while now. I loved the pictures in Miss Peregrines… it made the book so unusual. Are you planning to see the film when it’s released?
