Talk about TV shows

If this post doesn’t tell you how much of a nerd I am, the rest of my posts will. I mean Movies, TV shows, anime, Books, Mangas, I love everything. And now that my exams are over (They ended yesterday)  I’m officially back. And now I can do all the things I did before, just without the guilt.

I can talk about TV shows all day. And since I  finished The Flash, Gotham, Daredevil, Legends of Tomorrow recently, I’m hyped about the next seasons. Each one of them had such an ending that makes you crave more.
Did you know Mr Robot season 2 is going to be released soon and by soon I mean 13th July, ain’t that fantastic?
Now for the rest of the shows I watched:

Shadowhunters

Was not what I expected or wanted or had hoped for. The cast made me feel like it would be an awesome show after the blunder that was the movie. But the show didn’t stay true to the book. I did not like Clary at all. Dominic just couldn’t be my Jace. He looks the part but he doesn’t act like it. The only part I did like was Malec. Aww they are so cute together and Magnus Bane is perfect. 

But they messed up the storyline, and ended it so soon. I don’t think I’ll stick around for the next season that way. Maybe I will if Sebastian shows up and the way they are messing up with the timeline of the books, I think he probably will.

Game of Thrones season 6 is airing and damn is it good. I know I don’t give away spoilers because I hate being spoiled myself but this time I can’t help it.

First thing that I needed to know was if Jon Snow was alive. And that goes for everyone I think. Guess what? He is. But he’s a changed man now. I think the premiere was a little disappointing. That is not how premieres should be but the show picked up pace soon. And That HODOR scene devastated me. And now Uncle Benjen’s back. Arya, Sansa and Bran’s characters have really developed through the series. And we still don’t know when Mr. Martin will write the next book but no book talk here. Show is keeping me occupied.

Sons Of Anarchy :

I watched 2 seasons of Sons of Anarchy and BAM! That ending. So of course I started the third season right away. I still haven’t finished it yet but Binge-watching is so much fun and let me tell you how in love with Jax Teller I am! Charlie Hunnam is gorgeous, no doubt but the character of Jax Teller. Just the perfect mix of bad biker boy, sweet boyfriend,  loving dad and a Sexy man.

But no that is not the only reason I like this show. Sons of Anarchy is a motorcycle club that indulges in illegal guns business in the town Charming. With the police on their payroll and town on their side, they fear no one. Untill someone decides to challenge them and then things go downhill henceforth. This show depicts family bonds, the lengths one could go to protect their own, blurring the lines between good and bad. Season 1 was really good and fun, Season 2 turned out to be intense. Season 3 has a slow pace and I still haven’t finished it for that reason alone.

Teen Wolf Season 5 (Don’t read this if you haven’t see the previous seasons)

Am I the only one that thinks that this show keeps getting better every season? In this season, there are new characters, my favourite being Theo ( Cody Christian). Unfortunately, there’s no Derek Hale and that’s what kept me from watching this in the past. But I’m glad I watched it now. There’s a new threat in town. Supernatural beings, nobody knows about. While Kira faces her own problems, Theo tries to fit into Scott’s pack. There’s a little bit of Stydia romance. (When will you finally get together?)
And  Parrish, remember him? He caught fire and didn’t die. Well he has a major role in this season. Also, the desert wolf is back. And Crystal Reed makes an appearance. Lots of people die. But that’s expected. All in all, it was a great season. 

Lucifer :

Lucifer Morningstar has left hell to take a vacation in LA. If that doesn’t make you want to see this show, I don’t know what will. This show mixes fun and depth into a sexy episode. Lucifer is so good at being Bad. And he helps the police (mainly Detective Decker) in solving crimes using his charming powers. I love how this show depicts Lucifer in a different light than how we are used to seeing him. The ending definitely irritated me. They could have atleast given one more episode. Now I have to wait a year (I think)  for the next season.

The Last Kingdom

It has a little Game of throneish feel to it. The Danes and the Saxons fighting for England. Danes want to rampage it and destroy it. Saxons want to save it and rule it. Uhtred, son of Uhtred born a Saxon but raised by Danes is our main character. It is a complex story, intricately connected and I enjoyed watching it. And there were only 8 Episodes. I think you should see the first episode to see if it’s something you’d like to watch. Not everyone has the same taste.

 

Empire

It’s a show about a top Black Musician whose children fight for the right to rule the company. And you can trust no one and nothing. Every one of them has secrets. What I love about this show is the Music, damn it’s a show ABOUT music so how can I not? It’s emotional and interesting as well as fun to watch.  Cookie is the funniest and baddest character and you can’t help but love her. Also Jamal’s a sweetheart. I just finished season 2 like an hour ago so I’ll be waiting for the season 3 now.
