DONOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE PREVIOUS BOOKS.!
After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They’re both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn’s sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe’s past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.
When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?
I finally got this book and devoured it in one sitting. This is the third book in Penryn and the end of days trilogy. And it’s a post-apocalyptic novel.
Remember in the previous book where Raffe rips the wings off Beliel and then he flies away with Penryn. Yeah so this book starts exactly where the previous one ended.
” Everywhere we fly, people scatter below us. ”
Uriel wants to become the messenger of God. He has unleashed such creatures that mark the end of days. And in such a world, you can trust no one..
Raffe has to find someone who can stitch his wings together. All Penryn wants is to keep her family safe.
This was an exciting, thrilling, sometimes funny and beautifully written. The parts with Pooky Bear and Penryn’s little arguments with Raffe were funny.
I adore Dee and Dum. Also, Beliel’s story was revealed and after that I just couldn’t hate him anymore. There was a lot of uncertainty and towards the end I wondered if I knew the characters as well as I thought. The way it all connects and works out is just brilliant. I loved this trilogy more than I thought I would.
And LOL Penryn’s mother is really something.
Little SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
Also, the group of watchers, hilarious.
If you haven’t read this trilogy for any reason, just try the first book. You’ll get hooked.
